Join NYABPsi for our annual Black History Month Celebration!
This year will feature a virtual showcase of Black authors and illustrators of children’s books and an interdisciplinary panel that explores the use of literary arts and storytelling as powerful tools in promoting cultural pride and healthy racial consciousness in youth.
It’s a family-friendly celebration that culminates with an engaging read-aloud by the authors, so bring the kids along!
There’s something for everyone…caregivers, educators, community and family members, youth workers, aspiring writers, mental health professionals, and of course our young people as the leaders of tomorrow!
